Is doing SAP HR beneficial in the middle phase of your career?

Hi there,

I want to know if anyone has benefited from doing SAP HR after having 7+ years already.

I have total experience if 7 + years wherein 4 + years is is HR and drawing a package of 5 LPA. However, I am on a career break since last 5 months and really not sure about doing this certification or not as I don't want to end up wasting my time and money if I am going to get the job as a fresher or difficult to find something good after this certification.

I want to do it primarily to gt into a reputed brand and get a decent package. Also, please guide if any other course in HR is going to outstand SAP in future of SAP is still good enough to attract good offers.

Thanks!

Hi - I think it depends on market and location. The last 2 companies (and current company) have both used SAP HR heavily for the past 18+ years.

That said, I would encourage you to look at SuccessFactors learning as well, as that is where the SAP investment is going.

Thanks for the reply Tammy, none of my past employers had SAP. So I don't really carry any experience in SAP HR so far.

At present in my location SAP is demanded by employers, however I am not sure weather it benefits mostly the freshers or people like me also who have got experience in HRM but not in SAP. I want to enhance my knowledge and career prospects both through it.
