Is 42 years a right age to choose sap fi as career

sir,

I am 42 years old residing in mumbai ( india) need your advise for taking SAP Fi consultancy as career . I have been SAP end user for last 10 plus years .

I have been in finance field for last 15 plus years where by i have worked for indian company to MNC.

I also need advise on what is scope of SAP Fi consultancy in india for fresher.

And will i be consider as fresher as I saw there not much opening for SAP FI fresher's.

Thanks in advance as your advise will help me in taking correct decession.

- Did you worked earlier on SAP system (Configuration / Solution design)

- How much comfortable you are with SAP (SAP configuration and providing solution in SAP terms)

- Search the blog / document / Topic posted by various people on Internet using SAP term "SAP simple finance"

- Follow the community "Simple Finance" and get an understanding of the question and answer which is being ask

After all this ask question from yourself how much you understand this and how quickly / effectively you can cover the knowledge gap (if any )

as far as age is concern I am not sure whether it will be easy or complex to get a job so explore the local market " what is the job profile and background and what are they looking while hiring the candidate"
