Hi Experts,
I am an MBA Graduate in Finance and an SAP FI Certified Consultant and having 6 years f SAP experience. At present i am working in an MNC company and doing SAP consulting.
I am little bit confused on whether and how much much an SAP Consultant should have knowledge on various IFRS standards and also have thoughts on going for IFRS certification.
Hence I wanted experts advise on whether it is good idea to go for doing IFRS diploma and investing money an time and how it will be useful for doing SAP consulting in long term.
Looking forward to your valuable suggestions...
Thanks and Regards,
Ajay.

Hi Ajay
As a consultant I think it is an excellent idea to develop skills in industry related topics to compliment your SAP knowledge. It is a way to differentiate yourself and be in a position to provide expert advise to your customer when implementing SAP. You will be able to understand what is critical for your customer and help them solve their business issues.

Colleen
