Hello All,

To which Module (SAP BI or BASIS) a software engineer from Networking and Server Domain can start his career in SAP competency. Which one can be more preferable? In between, the software engineer has good managing, creative and analytical Skills besides the administrative skills.
Kindly reply with your valuable suggestions to start a SAP Career. Thanks in advance

Hi Bharadhwaz,

SAP Basis means System Management or System Engineering. If you managed any kind of systems before, then it will be easy for you to get familiar with SAP Basis area.

SAP BI is lets say %40 technical, %60 functional thing.

I suggest you to go with SAP Basis if you are not getting bored with managing lots of systems at the same time while those systems are evolving
