There is a thing called mini SAP which is for ABAP development only.

how long is the trial perioud and is there any test data included. also there are a lot of files

Please follow the installation instructions. For example number 4 is the Java GUI, if you only want to work in SAP GUI then you will not need that.

Under the read more link you may see the system requirements and in the technical information part you may find the licensing information. You will get a 90 days license.

Some test data like the famous flight application is included.
