If you don't know anything about SAP then how you decided you want to move to SAP SD. ?
Just Google and get some information about SAP and functional module in SAP.

Ashish,
it seems like you have experience of Sales & marketing in Pharma industry. If you know the complete process then it would be helpful to you to learn in SAP.
If you choose as a functional consultant then you can go to
(1)SAP-SD module (Sales & Distribution)
(2) FI (Finance module)
(3) CO (Controlling Module , related to budget, management accounting)
(4) MM (material management)
(5) SCM (Supply Chain -related to purchase, supply management)
(6) HR ( Related to Human Resource)
(7) CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
SAP is all about integration between various department in an organisation. And that is Enterprise Resource Planning.
Now in SAP training and certification section you can get brief outline of all the above mentioned module..
Read it and then decide. It is not everybody is doing, I should also do, not like that.
Thanks & Regards,
Supriyo

Hey Ashish kumar,
There are many modules available in sap.
As you have chosen the SD module, SD stands for Sales and Distribution..
Its all about sales matter..

Hi Ashish,
SAP SD, is a function module. In general people who had domain ( marketing, finance etc) experience. they will prefer function module.
As you said. you had done PGDM in marketing and if you are aware about the process how customer purchases products from vendor, etc
then you can go ahead with SAP SD.
Thanks & Regards,
