Hello,

Good you are working in Oracle and planing to come in SAP but before i suggest something to you, you need to share some more details about yourself. Like what work you are doing in Oracle and experience and all. and which kind of certification you are looking for in SAP..

Hi Chandra

i am ICWA, and have 10 years of domain exp. , worked in oracle as a user. Now i am doing SAP -CO certification, will it be a good move to become consultant or continue as domain user.

Hi Pankaj,

Can you share the reason for taking a certification in SAP when you working in Oracle!

Is it that you are working on Oracle product but not related to ERP/CRM/Analytics and you are interested in SAP modules and making a career in SAP. Also, are you finding growth somewhat stagnant in Oracle track and finding SAP good for future prospects. Let me know a little about these so that you get some useful inputs.

Cheers,

Hi Pankaj,

You will be considered as a fresher because you don't have experience working in SAP. You should find out about the remuneration that a SAP CO Consultant gets and then compare with what you are receiving. I have seen people doing good but a lot depends upon the level and the company that an individual is working.

Still the question about why you want to move to SAP from your current profile/job is not clear to me but if you want to move to SAP because you are interested in it and you believe that salary would be better than what you are currently drawing then it may not be true immediately because companies look at an individual's experience in SAP and his/her involvement in projects.

Cheers,
