Hello.
My name is Vsevolod, I came from Ukraine and am now in Germany, I received the status of Temporary Asylum.
I am interested in the training programs in your company, and I would like to continue using them, but the cost of training, exams and independent work is very high.
I have two higher educations, one of the highest universities in Ukraine. This is a recognized education of an engineer in electronic devices at the level of highways and management enterprises.

For example, I have about 30 years of experience in electronics and IT. My path began with FIDO, MS-DOS, the first x86 computers and the construction of corporate networks, an IT organization involved in a branch of a small company, setting up VoIP telephony, database servers, etc. I have basic knowledge of many programming languages, development and implementation, including SEO optimization and filling secure sites and sites for the sale of goods and services. I know the syntax of the 1C programming language, which is a competitor to SAP in the post-Soviet space. The business manager education has supplemented my skills and opportunities not only to organize business processes, but also to become a co-owner.
In SAP, I received an initial certificate of a consultant product, deployed a test local version and began to study the syntax of the ABAP language.

I have several questions:
To what extent are IT specialists and economists in demand as two in one in the field of SAP application. Apparently, this is management at the level of a project manager or department, but with extensive experience in SAP. What areas or training programs do I follow to maximize the implementation of two educations in SAP?

Is it worth choosing the IT service management direction in SAP as the fastest and most effective way to enter the labor market?

I would like to apply my skills in projects, demonstrating not only the business process plane, but also the IT infrastructure, hardware with sensors and actuators, API interfaces and data conversion organization.

Thanks in advance.

Vsevolod...Happy to hear you have found residents in Germany. A few thoughts on your post...

  • SAP Learning - Check out free courses (they used to be under OpenSAP)
  • SAP ABAP with SAP AI (machine learning, Generative AI is worth exploring. Here's one post.
  • SAP IT skills are in demand, you just need to find an area where your skills and experiences can make an impact
  • SAP IT Services Management is one of many very good starting points where you could get experience if the right opportunity opens up with SAP, a partner, or customer.

Good luck in your pursuits!
Best regards... Rich
