Hi Manjappa H M,
TO start Carrier in SAP as a Fresher you need to update Daily your CV in Job portals first thing, and then Practical Knowledge is Important, Regularly Practice.
if you do SAP certification you will get more opportunites compared to others .
For Freshers usulally they ask why you choose SAP is the first ? and then specifically you selected BASIS is their any reason they will ask, and some basic questions related to your Subject (BASIS)they will ask.
Regularly participate in SCN under BASIS Corner as suggested by
Chandra Shekhar Agarwal (you will learn more new concepts , if you have any doubts regarding your subject you can post as a disussion ,youwill get lots of answers from experts)
