Hi Experts ,

I have 6+ years of experience in SAP-ABAP, but i was working on nothing other than LSMW tool. Now im frustrated and want to change a job . I would like to improve my knowledge on data management side . Can any one suggest me what all advance technologies available to improve my career in Data Management side ?

Hi Smitha,

strange for me that you have worked 6 yrs. in LSMW tools, can i know the reason behind this.

Anyhow, what do you mean by data management side, are you talking about functional side,

FI/CO etc.

First thing that i wants to convey you is that whenever you will switch towards a new domain,

you will be considered as a fresher , isn't it. So you think about the scenario, when you will

searching a job by considering you almost fresher.

So my advise is that, either switch towards some other company in ABAP section, here atleast

you have so many years of exposure. Please learn other tools yourself in abap, with such a huge

experience, you will surely gets too many calls, where you have to justify your knowledge.

From there you can start a new begining.

6 years of LSMW is really strange!

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but SAP has something called as Master Data Management
