Hi Pankaj,
I read your post so I thought of giving you some suggestions. Your profile would be more attractive because you have the certification also as many people don't have certification they only do the training. Now, certification alone doesn't help because in training you go through the content that is been set up for a particular module. What you should pro-actively do is that you should follow the posts, blogs, queries that people post in SCN and get a good feel of what kind of issues and challenges people face in their job. You can make use of such information to be close to a real time problem and see who responded what and how a problem was solved. This will give you good knowledge and will help you in performing good in job interview and also while at work. SCN is a very good place and a great resource for a fresher, knowledge seeker and someone who wants to move up in career.
Make sure you establish good network with people working in ABAP via SCN, LinkedIn, and FB groups. SCN has a wealth of knowledge created by professionals. Keep updating your resume with your new learnings every week, the well known job portals are (www.recruit.net, naukri.com, monster.com, dice.com, bayt.com etc).
Good Luck.

I am an IT professional with a Masters degree in Computer Applications (MCA), currently working as a software developer for an Indio-US startup company. I recently completed SAP Certified Associate- ABAP certification with 83%. I have more than three years of hands on experience on product development, cloud application development and various frameworks and new technologies( Such as node.js, mongoDB ). I also have experience in PHP, MySQL, J2EE
I am looking for a career in ABAP domain. For past FOUR months I searched all jobs sites but still in vain.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Pankaj,
as people have already discussed that, a certification never gurantees a job, and the reason behind is that in certifications generally objective type of questions are asked, which is nothing to have with real time business scenario, because learning a technology and implementing it in real time business scenario are totally different.
But certifications will provide you an added advantage in boosting your resume, please never loose hope, try at your level best and let wait for the day that will be only yours.
Best Of Luck.
