Hi
I am an IT professional with a Masters degree in Computer Applications (MCA), currently working as a software developer for an Indio-US startup company. I recently completed SAP Certified Associate- ABAP certification with 83%. I have more than three years of hands on experience on product development, cloud application development and various frameworks and new technologies.
I am looking for a career in ABAP domain. For past four months I searched all jobs sites but still in vain.
Is there any problem with my approch? or any problem with my resume? I forwarded to lot of companies and still no reply
Everyone asking for experience in ABAP...but I passed the exam with 83%... Is that means nothing...???
I searched the entire scn and found bunch of discussion about the same topic...( And still adding one more to that )
I have experience in JavaScript, node.js, express.js, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, J2EE ...
I am new to SAP domain...

Hi Damodaran,
please understand one thing, taking a certification itself never gurantees a job in sap , its simple because in certification objective type of questions are asked, which is nothing to have with real time business scenario, because learning a technology and implementing it in real time business scenario are totally different.
So irrespective of your certification, not a single company is looking for you, but please don't loose
your hope, because one day will be yours, when you will surely get called and may selected for abaper role.
Please feel free to revert, if you have any question in your mind because me too an abaper, so might help you at some extent.
Best of Luck.

Hello,
As already suggested/posted certification is not a offer letter, its your asset which will help you get the job, you have certification is Great, but no real time experience in the business cases, issue, concepts. So don't think like there is something wrong, Problem is you are changing your domain and it takes time. So don't loss hope and keep trying, update yourself with skills and also keep updating your resume at the Job portal and careers of the company.
