How to get into SAP market as a fresher

Hi all,

Myself Prantik Guha. I am B.Tech (CSE) guy with 4yrs. of experience in testing. I have some knowledge of sales and distribution and right now I am doing training in SAP SD module. So my query is that whether I can be able to get a break through in SAP market with my background and would i treated as a fresher in SAP market.

Hi Prantik,

As per my opinion,  Every SAP  modules need some domain knowledge in that module.

without domain knowledge SAP market  treets as a Fresher .

you can try  any business based  organization like core industry to get domain knowledge in SAP-SD.

then easily you can get break in IT service industry.

Yes. you will be treated as a fresher in SAP market.

But I must say you will be valuable fresher the normal fresher, because you are doing a training in SAP SD module.

And your background is fine to enter SAP market. Just concentrate on your training..

Learn more about configuration part in SAP SD module.

Like as Customer Master data, Pricing Procedure etc etc..

It will be very good for you if you will take a strong knowledge of configuration level.

Hi Prantik,

as you are having experience in testing, and have no prior exposure to SAP, you will be considered as an fresher in SAP SD, when it comes to get a job, please understand that getting a job in SAP as an fresher is tough but not impossible , as you have industry exposure , so you will surely get benefit of it, but not in terms of an experienced professional in SAP.

So, as you have already taken a foot ahead in SAP SD , so please work hard into it, surely you will get a job, as SD is one of the most popular module in SAP.
