How to decide which SAP module would best suit me

I am a software developer with 8yrs of IT experience in C, C++ technologies. I am interested in learning SAP,

SAP has plenty of modules,  before selecting which module best suits for my work background

I would like to know how easy/difficult it is to move from development background to an SAP consultant?

Could anyone suggest or guide me?

Hi Madhavi,

Seems like your from technical background, in SAP We have programing part which is called as SAP ABAP. its purely coding part. it may suits for you.

Coming function modules, its may need some Non-IT Exp from respective fields then only those are useful to choose.

But in your case totally your from technical background. ABAP will be good to go.

Hi Madhavi,

You have 8+ exp in C,C++,so SAP ABAP is coding part.
