2) Is the SAP PP module right option for me?
3) May I utilize My working exp at the time of applying in other industry after completion of the course?
4) In which type of sector I can apply?
5) Please suggest any other institute in kolkata.
It will be very helpful to me.

Hi Sumit,
as you are having 11 yr experience, i am not getting why you wants to change, because whatever any institute is providing you, i don't think they will give exposure to you for a fresher level job in sap, so please choose wisely, and one thing more could you please explain what are your roles and responsibilities in your Printing Technology, i think then people will able to reply you more accurately.

My responsibilities is to print the newspaper, operate the printing machines, check the quality of printing, maintenance of the machine, technical analysis of the product, preparing and up-keeping the production report as well as daily work in SAP.

Aha!! So you already have access to SAP. What transactions did you use on a day-to -day basis? This will tell you a great deal about the module in which you have most experience already! Are you still working at this company? This is your best chance. Let us know!
Best regards,

Yes I am still working in that company. Daily I just entry the work which we did under PP module and if we issue a new product then entry the data under MM module.
Thanks.
Sumit

Ah Okay. So now you want to learn some module either PP or MM.
Is your company have any MM or PP consultant ??

Hi Sumit,
as you are entering data into MM module, it may have any MM functional consultant there, if it is so then you can ask to your management that you also wants to learn sap , and if possible you can learn from there, if you will get exposure within your company it will fruitful to you, because outside your company, its tough to be a mm functional consultant as fresher are not considered more generally.

sorry guys I am late to reply. I think our company has PP& MM consultant but I don't know who is that. Also I think never I will get exposure on this company by learning pp or mm module.

Hi Sumit,
let me clear one thing, please do not take it negatively, as your company will not provide any exposure to you either in PP or in MM module, then it will be too tough to get a job in sap MM or PP module, because here you will be consider as a fresher, also while working 11 yrs. you have got a salary hiked
that would not be payable to a fresher even if your job hunts ends. So are you ready for this hurdles.

Hi Sumit,
I agree with Sanjeev Kumar. As a fresher you won't get paid enough , and the another hurdle is you
don' t have the degree.Generally companies who hire people will look the qualification as well as the minimum qualification should be graduation according to industry standards.Try to finish your graduation first then plan your carrer.Don't listen to the training center people they will just woo you and later dump you no where..

Thanks
Sumit

Hi Sumit,
talking about starting salary is a handy discussion, because it totally depends on the company in which you will get exposure, so can't say anything, but what i will suggest you is to grab the opputunity to work as a PP consultant without seeing salary, because once you become an experienced professional, salary will be no bar for you.

I did 3 years regular diploma cource in printing technology approved by AICTE. after passing 10+2. My question is it enough qulification for getting job opportunities.
As per my knowledge maximum all companies are asking minimum Degree qualification.
As already suggested, if you want to get into SAP definitely your domain experience supports to either MM or PP module.however, you need to apply for fresher job in SAP,you need to work for less salary, if you are certified fresher consultant little bit more and job opportunities as well comparatively fresher with out certification, apart from the above you also need to complete your degree simultaneously.
by considering all please take suggestion accordingly.
