How is PS Market in US and India

HI People ,

I just want to know the market for PS in India and US . I have a business degree and more inclined towards the functional stuff. I have 2 yrs experience being a ABAPer and very much interested in moving to the functional side . How is it for PS functional consultants? How long can one sustain as a PS consultant , i mean the future prospects ? I am planning to do certification also ? will It help? i know i have asked many questions , but i think i need a break very badly....

I doubt this is right fourm to discuss career oppourtunity. As you have asked in General it is very good prospect as PS module scope is going to be increased in future due to new developmetn being done by SAP to cater professional service market segment.

Hi,

PS is considered to be one of the niche modules and has good demand in India as well as overseas. The way the market is going currently, there's gonna be a huge demand for PS professionals.

But also remember one thing, jsut doing certification or attending training sessions is not going to help. You need to have good knowledge in the Projects domain coupled with a fair bit of knowledge across other modules/domains.
