Hello,

Sorry to say but, according to your background there is not relevant module for you.. means no module include any ECE related work. But still there are some module you can learn.. Here..you can find small description of modules.

Hi  Leela Gautham,

I have seen MBA Graduate working as a ABAP programmer and Trainer. There are many people who are working on SAP projects with out even Certification.

Gautham you must decide which is your's most interesting topic to work, you cannot depend on others to decide your carrier. select carrier path which you are interested inn, it can be sap or some other non-sap technology.

Following are few sap Functional Modules:

Financial Accounting (FI)

Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM)

Controlling (CO)

Materials Management (MM)

Sales and Distribution (SD)

Logistics Execution (LE)

Production Planning (PP)

Quality Management (QM)

Plant Maintenance (PM)

Project System (PS)

Human Resources (HR)

And Sap Technical Modules:

ABAP Programming

SAP Basis Administration

Hi LG,

SAP modules are technical and functional in nature and these are used for business purpose i.e. not any engineering product or technology so having education in ECE branch may not be useful. We all make changes/upgrade in our education and skills so it is quite normal for people to move in to SAP besides an engineering degree.

Take sometime out and see which module interests you and you find comfortable to learn then decide.

Cheers,
