Hi Prasanth,

You would have searched about SAP Career, you can try jobs in functional modules - SD, MM, PP, QM, FI etc....

But, for all these modules, domain experience is very much needed. To start a career in SAP functional consultant as a fresher is not too easy. Today's world, any technology they will ask min of 2 years experience. First decide whether you like go for technical or functional side. I would recommend you to go for SAP Technical (as you are B.Tech - don't worry about stream), i have seen many people who did ECE, EEE, or MECH who are all now working in IT. So, it doesn't matter at all.

SAP Technical - Developer or Netweaver administrator (BASIS), to become a developer you need basic coding knowledge, Basis you need OS and DB administration knowledge and experience. Let's wait for other thoughts on this and make your call.

Good Luck

Hi,

as per your Qualifications i hope there are good oppurtunities in Biotechnology

morever i heard there is some software in Bitechnology of protien Modelling

SAP Health care might be suited to you.

Coming to SAP since you dont have any experience you can opt for any Module

it all depends on your Interest but basically SAP is related Business Applications

you need to have very good Understanding of Business Concepts and understanding of Various working of various Departments in any industry.

But get into SAP Career requires lot Patience and Time Taking.

Hi Prasant kumar,

The following are list of Authorized Institute Of SAP .

  1. NIIT

   2. Genovate Solutions Pvt Ltd

   3.Siemens Information Systems Ltd

   4. Systems Domain

   5. Enovations System Intelligence Private Limited.

In my Opinion Choose any Institute From first three options. When you go that Institute check the placement history of that institute becoz as fresher getting job in SAP is very tough thing.

   ALL THE BEST.

Hi Prasant,

I would like to update on the list of Authorized institutes of SAP:

1. NIIT has closed its centers for SAP Education

2. Atos has over take Siemens

About rest of the centers, I have no idea.

I am also an ABAP certified consultant and cleared my certification through NIIT. There were no placements for a single student from our batch and earlier batches as well.

Before spending huge amount for the certification (3.5 Lakhs for ABAP), please verify the placement history of the institution first and call the guys who are placed by the institutions. Otherwise at the end of the day you would have to struggle a lot as I and many others are doing to get an interview call.

All the best for your research.

Rajwinder

Hello ,

As per my knowledge no institute can ensure that you will get a job after a certification. so we shouldn't blame any institute for this. Its purely your responsibility to update your resume at JOB PORTAL sites and make so enough Google to find opening..

All the Best

Hi Chandra Shekhar Agarwal,

That's true no one can ensure that after certification one will get the job. I was not blaming anyone for this but yes while enrollment when institutes say BIG-BIG things, they can schedule or provide interview calls atleast.

But yes, As I was struggling a lot and spending 8-9 hours on Google and other job portals, I was able to find out more openings (hardly few) than these institutes.

I can say one thing only Don't give up and keep trying until you succeed.

Rajwinder
