Future Prospect in SAP

Hi Guys, I have just joined as data and process reediness specialist job at foodstuffs my role is to collect data from stores and process them into SAP System. its a first time i am working with SAP. i have some experienced in software testing as well. what kind of roles i can get in the future and certification i can do related to SAP after having some experience in this role ?

Hi Shalin

This sort of work can open itself to many different pathways depending on what you actual job duties are. It can include

  • Master Data Management
  • Functional consultant - learn a specific module like Materials Management or Sales & Distribution so you learn how to configure and implement SAP.
  • Tester - on larger projects dedicated teams test the solution before it is handed over to users for training and validation

You could look at moving into functional roles (learn to configure the system) or a super/expert user who becomes the go to person

This thread is quite old but if you have any specific questions or clarification, please provide more information about your day to day duties, what your skills are and what you find interesting to pursue. Someone might be able to recommend where you can go next.
