Full time roles vs. contract opportunities?

Hello all,

I am trying to fill full-time SAP roles in a variety of areas/modules (Basis, LE, DB, BW/BPC as well as SPP). The positions are for a 3PL in the Dallas area.  We're having trouble finding people with 5-7 years of experience who are interested in full time opportunities rather than just contract positions.

Any advice on finding these professionals?  What are your personal motivators to get out of contracting and find a permanent "home?"

Cheryl

Cheryl,

I would say LinkedIn and other professional site is best options, Not traditional jobsites. And talking about motivator i guess SAP consulting is tiring but most people love that way its difficult to get a common motivator for all people out there however i would say Flexibility work schedule and Remote work may get you some candidates in Dallas for your requirement.

Good Luck in your hiring

Hi Cheryl,

Hrusikesh is right. Look for in networking sites as Linkedin. And look for outside of USA, maybe you'd need to persuade your clients to sponsor H1B visas (we are talking about permanent roles, scarcity in the US market and equivalent rewards to US professionals), although I am afraid they are unwilling. Because, according your question "What are your personal motivators to get out of contracting and find a permanent "home?" ", there are  professionals ( from India, South Europe, South America...) who want to enter in the US market.

Regards
