Engineering Graduate---Should I Go For ABAP??? Plz Help

Hello Everyone,

I am a B.E. (Computer Science) fresher from Bangalore, searching for job in the field of application development. I have a sound knowledge of JAVA and SQL.

Since I am jobless I am looking for something that enhances job opportunities. I got to know about ABAP from a training institute.

Should I go ahead for ABAP? Being a fresher wont be a hindrance for me? What should I do? The training institute is assisting me to get education loan.

Please give me some constructive advices as I am very depressed and confused.

There are links to very nice blogs by Otto Gold specially for the beginners looking for new career path so it's really helpful.

Also search this forum for simillar questions so you will get better idea, then you can ask more specific questions.

Continuous to above reply ( read all the blogs from career center and Search basic questions in this forum)

With Java and sql experience you can start your career from SAP EP (enterprise portal). search in this forum for Moving to EP, and XI is also a good option(strong java experience needed). EP needs JSP skills and some knowledge with HTML,JS. For EP development Web dynpro java is needed.According to your knowledge i will suggest you for Sap ep.
