Does appearance like obesity or being fatty matter in getting a job as a fresher in SAP field?

Hi all,

After certifying it's more than 7 months and I applied for many interviews, even got call from some companies but still not getting selected even after passing the Technical round and reaching the HR round. I am now thinking that why in-spite of performing fairly well in most interviews I am not getting selected while some guys are getting selected.

Does my appearance matter in getting fresher jobs in SAP?

Hello Samiran,

There are as many answers to your question as there are employers, but it is an unfortunate truth that some employers will consider your appearance to be more important than your skills. In other cases when the employer has to make a choice between two equally skilled people, they may well think about which consultant will make the better impression on their customers.

There is one skill that can be very valuable to a consultant (especially for SAP Business One), that many technical consultants do not realize, and that is can you sell? That means that when you are working on a customer project, can you identify the customer's needs that have not been addressed yet? Can you get the customer to purchase more/other services and/or products from your employer? Many B1 consultancy employers value this skill highly.

Also, have you considered interviewing for jobs as system specialist with B1 knowledge / experience? In other words B1 user companies.

Regards,

Johan

Hi Johan,

I did my certification in ECC 6.6, EHP 6 in SD module. I think Business One is a different version of SAP than that taught to us in ILT?

Hi Samiran,

I assumed SAP Business One, because that is the primary tag you used.

You may change the tag by editing your question (see the Actions button under your avatar in this question). Perhaps you will get more replies.

Johan
