Hello Yuvaraj,

Mr. Singh answered the question ably, so I have not much to add other FAQ: What is the best SAP module for me? might be helpful to you. In general, your profile looks like a text book SAP System Administrator (Basis) profile. Just as you can be an OS administrator and also handle user account management/security, Basis folks can do general administration which could include light Security management. A Security specialist does nothing but user and security administration day in and day out. You'll typically find Basis folks at very small companies do double duty and larger companies break the two into two different job roles.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,

Hello Yuvraj,

SAP Basis is System Administrator and SAP security is User administration

Overview For SAP Basis Profile

. System daily routine Monitoring

. Database Health Checkups.

. Upgrades, Refresh etc

. Patches, Kernel Upgrades,

Overall Basis will manage the complete landscape of company and integration with all systems in landscape.

Security Overview

User creation, Deletion, Maintainence

Reports

Role Creation change and asisgnment

GRC Administrator

So in net they are less involved in system but touching base with all function modules so that restrict business transactions and access.

To advice you, need more details on your profile.

Hope this will help.

Thanks
