Consoder your intrests first.

Are you good in progamming? then

1.You can choose Java based SAP Portal Implementation and WebDynpro ,basically application developer and portal developer.

2.ABAP development on SAP ,this also these days incoperate Webdynpro.

If programming is not of your taste then:

Go for SAP Netweaver Administration /Basis Administration

Third option is Functional consultant

Choose any SAP Module Like HR ,FI CO ,MM PM --there are lot of them,,

Start learning as per your intrests.

Hi

I would suggest you to go for SAP ABAP which is an SAP language to do the required programming and configuration in SAP ERP.

Advanced Business Application Programming is some thing like C and C++. So learning it for an engineer with IT background is as easy as eating a banana. But i would recommend you to get certified from SAP AG in SAP ABAP to create a difference between you and a normally trained ABAPer.

for more details you can visit www.yet5.com if you need some thing very specific to Chennai
