Hi guys
I am basically MCA person, have total 10yrs of experience out of which 8yrs in SAP.
I started my carreer with SAP-ABAP techno functional, then studied little SD areas to move functional side.
but i could not get chance to work as functional consultant in any projects. Alternatively i was getting work
n Basis areas and Upgrades. So i started studying SAP Basis and upgrades and working on that.
So all together my experience looks like this
ABAP -3Yrs
ABAP-SD - 2Yr(Worked in ABAP-SD area projects)
Basis - 3Yrs.
and i got Basis certification also.
Whole time i was looking to functional area...but unfortunately i could not.
After all 10yrs of experience in IT, Now i am planning to move forward as SAP project manager assuming
that i have basic experience in all three areas.
But not sure how to start my project manager career from this point. Any advice could me more valuable.
Thanks
ambichan

Surprise,
SAP experiance 8+ and Basis Certification, Knowlege in ABAP, SD , Functional part etc etc .
Still waiting for an advise.
i think more than 50% of the PM' have none of these much qualities they have only one thing which you dont .i.e.
confidence
After 10 years of Experiance in IT you have some good relationships with this SAP field so you do the thingd easily as a PM

You don´t seem to be very helpful. If you would pay something back, I would have a piece of advise here and there. Under these circumstances I will have to wait for you to fix this.
