Hello
I am reaching out to you for some career advice in the SAP field. I have been working in stock operations for a well-known retail company that uses SAP as its ERP system, and I am on its user end. While I do not have a technical background or a degree in IT, I have developed a keen interest in various technologies and tools such as PowerApps, Power BI, MySQL, and Excel VBA and have started self-learning, which I find both fascinating and enjoyable.
My main question is regarding how I can transition into the SAP world, considering my lack of technical background. Specifically, I am interested in knowing if learning ABAP would be a feasible option and how challenging it might be for someone like me. I would also appreciate insights into the timeline it may take for me to become proficient enough to earn a good salary in the SAP field.
In addition, I would like to understand the starting salary range I could expect if I obtained SAP certifications without prior exposure or experience. Currently, my salary range in the UK falls between £40,000 and £50,000. Any career advice or guidance you can provide would be immensely appreciated
