Career shift to SAP?

Hello everyone,

So basically I'm 29, working as a Windows Sys Admin, with about 6 years of experience mainly with Microsoft products - Hyper-V, Service Center family, etc. Now I'm bored and thinking to shift into SAP. Only experience with SAP I had couple years ago, while was running different types of simple transactions.

I don't want to be SAP developer or Business/Sales consultant. I'm thinking more technical, like SAP Basis or Functional Consultant. Given the fact, that I have no previous experience in any of it, I guess my starting point would be the Basis Consultant.

The question is where should I start from? What courses/books/etc. should I take or which certification should be my first? Etc, etc. Any pointers would be appreciated.

SAP Basis will be right choice for you. you can look for some classes for Basis and has a good future.

all the best.
