Career path for SAP FI Consultant

Hi All, greetings from India- hope you guys are excited for weekend!. I have a question on SAP FI Career options.

I have 8 years of domain experience and recently i took the SAP Certification test and i became SAP FI consultant. I am in lookout for jobs right now. Can you guys let me know how should I proceed with the sap career. I plan to complete co certification, and IFRS certification in next one and half years. After that I want to complete CMA in 4 years of time. Please let me know your thoughts.

I too completed certification in FI and looking for job. I have 8 yrs Accounts and Finance experience, but it seems no such openings for SAP fresher right now.

Go slow and steady.

If you want to eat everything on one day, then it would be hard to digest 🙂

Unlike FI Certification, CO Certification will test the waters little in depth.

First, try to get a job in SAP FI area, work for few years, the get knowledge in CO. If you are really interested then go with CO Certification. I am not sure if you have any IFRS certification from SAP.
