Career move for XI/PI consultant with 10 yrs SAP PI experience

Hi Experts,

I am an SAP PI consultant with 10 yrs experience in the SAP space (9 yrs on SAP XI/PI) and currently looking to enhance my skills and give my career a boost.

I have worked for 4 yrs in the Oil Industry and also with Energy clients.

Can anyone suggest what certification I can take up which can complement my existing skills and also broaden my horizon.

I am not very keen in moving to a completely different area like HANA as I want to cash in on my experience.

Please guide.

Hi P M,

You have a very good experience in SAP PI consultant, why do you want to change?  You can earn very good money in SAP PI/PO.

If you are not getting right thing, then you are at wrong place.  You have to change your place to get what you want.

You have a good combination niche skill IS-OIL and SAPPI/PO.  So, you have to keep these two niche skills and play on job game what you want it.  My sincere suggestion, do not change your career to SAP HANA completely.
