I have 15 years of Experience out of which 6 years in function like production planning and 8 years in IT which include 2 SAP rollout and IT infrastructure setup like LAN, WAN, server setup, client setup and so on.

Hi Avinash,
Based on your previous exp, you have two options
1. SAP PP
2. SAP Basis.
But strongly believing that as best module will be SAP PP - its function module which will be easy to under stand during the course of training.because you have PP domain exp which was countable for your exp. its useful to you.
Exp - Experience.

but my exp was from 2000 - 2005 in Planning (PP) but after that I was not in touch with the current trends in the market,. APO could be difficult for me.
But you are also right from the point of Exp,. if I go with PP then my complete exp will be counted.

Hi,
As we know production planing procedure or steps will be the same to design best product. might be some new technologies may came. but if read them you can understand easily.
At your location if you have SAP Authorized centers then check with them, its best to take their initial suggestion on modules which is best for you.
Even just check about SAP PP functionality thru Google. by reading some basic info you may get idea on it.
