Hi everyone,
I have completed 19 yrs of service in Defence establishment as a logistician and have plenty of experience in Logistics cycle. I also have experience in
in-house ERP (logistics) developed for defence. Now I want to switch over to SAP as a consultant. I have learnt SAP MM. My question is will my 19 yrs of exp help in getting a good job in SAP field. Will I be treated as a fresher or will have an edge over others?

HI Sreeni,
if you look at old discussions, we were discussing about similar kind of experiences.
The best fit module is SAP SD Logistic Execution. The main point is when you come to SAP World, you domain experience will not be counted in SAP. Because most of the companies checks relevant SAP experience, domain experience I could see companies are neglecting to take as relevant experience in SAP. You can only bargain salary wise and lit bit to get job as a senior consultant or Team lead when you get a job but not more than that (if you get more than that you are lucky).
If you would like to come to SAP... SAP always welcomes anyone from domain industries.
