I am  Registered Nurse and I'm looking into learning SAP as a new career path. Please, where exactly can I start? What certifications should I get? Can I get a job in the field without any prior experience?

This is called a mid-career switch. I am the best example here. 

1- pick which business process you love the most. Sales/Procurement/Manufacturing/HR/Finance

2- Find a free course on the module you chose in open.sap.com 

3- I always suggest getting certified - as you will learn the module completely.  Learning hub is the best place

4 Read blogs / you tube videos /Linkedin articles on the module you are following

5 Once certified, be in touch with a recruiter for opportunities. 

6 Post blogs /Article in Blogs.sap.com /Linkedin to get attention from recruiting agencies .
