Hi,

If you are learning on real time environment then that is very good. Certifications are always costly affair but these makes you different from others.

Shristi,

If you are getting to do configuration in your current job, then stick to it for 3 years. Thereafter try.

Shristi,

There's an old saying, "A Bird in Hand is Worth Two in the Bush". And that applies to you.

With one year of experience in the SD area I suggest you just stick around for a while longer. This will help you in two ways:

- Help you gain more knowledge and more exposure to real-time problem solving.

- Helps you gain experience in the numeric sense.

The industry usually prefers Consultants with at least 3 or 4 years with at least 2-3 end-to-end implementations.

So just stick around. Initially the pay might be less, but it's worth it in the end.

Hi,

You have good functional exp, Fortunate you got the break and working as SAP SD consultant.

that is good to hear.Just look around or search SAP certification job opportunities in Google, you come to know how lucky you are... there are people who have 4- 6 years of functional experience and certified consultants desperately waiting for a SAP career.

You are lucky, you are already landed in SAP Career. As our members suggested that wait for 2,3 years, learn other modules..if you are interested. Then no one can stop you...!!!

Be confident...do not loose hope.

All the best..!!!!
