Dear Friends,
I am an SAP SD Consultant and want to choose another module for my learning in future. I am interested in SAP BI. But need to know that whether SD and BI makes a good combination or not. And hows is the market for SAP SD+BI consultants.
Besides in few threads, I saw to understand BI, ABAP knowledge is must. If it is true, then do I need to go with ABAP first or not.
Kindly share your thoughts and experiences, I need your guidance.

Hi,
BI is techno functional module , if you have experince in SD then it will be helpfull when working with SD module .But In BI Not only deals with SD & it deals all other sap Modules (MM,FI,HR,CO,PP,PM) it's depending on Business needs.
If you are interested to learn SD related to BI then need to know about standard Data sources first for that refer help.sap.com
Extraction SD Sales: Document Header - Enterprise Sales and Distribution - SAP Library
Abap Knowledge is needed max 30% (Depends on Business needs) it might vary.
Suggestion will be go for BI in future have more opportunities & in Future shift to BO/Hana .
