Hi All,

I am an ABAP technical consultant and am having 3 years of experience in the CRM module. I would now want to change my stream from ABAP since i dont want to develop myself as an ABAP technical consultant. I am looking forward to changing it to BASIS since i am more interested in administrating systems and dont want to leave SAP. Kindly suggest how should i go ahead with it. Also is it advisable to move into CRM functional rather than changing the stream to Basis ?

Hi,

I'd suggest developing your CRM experience further, both technical and functional. On the technical side, There are a lot of new scenarios comping up for using CRM with MDM, PI, Portal, BI/Business Objects, etc. Try to cross-skill yourself in those areas. Functional knowledge always helps if you wish to establish yourself as a CRM Architect in the next few years.
