Hello SCN members,
I have just started my career in SAP by getting certified as a SAP Project Systems consultant. SAP, as a most developing ERP solution for almost all industries, has always developed inclination towards it.
Hence, I want to proactively build my career in SAP by gaining as much knowledge as I can.
My qualification is - graduation in Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering, Masters in MBA Marketing.
My professional experience is as - Software developer, Project/Production planning executive, SAP PS functional consultant.
My certifications are - SAP PS consultant.
I am interested in getting certified in other SAP components, so that I get better exposure to industries and different business domains.
Please guide.

Hi Aditya,
1. If you are SAP PS certified, you can concentrate on making a good career in that module.
2. Rather than getting certified on any additional SAP module, gain the actual project experience in SAP PS module.
3. Certifications definately adds value, but the project experience make it perfect and give an edge in terms of further career objectives.
Please do not be Jack of all and Master of none. Go steady, I am sure you will win the race.
Regards
DJ

Hi Aditya,
Since you have already completed certification in PS then try to find some work in the module that you have taken training and have certification. It is important to get some experience in a live project and try to build your knowledge by working in complex and big implementations. You may do some research in BI/BO/HANA and see what they are and how can any of these compliment your education, experience and training.
Good Luck.
