Hi SAPers,

I am SAP ABAP certified consultant with 6 years of fruitful experience in SAP ABAP with exposure to functional module SD,MM,FI,CO,PP,QM.

But as many of us some time in our life need suggestion to have better visibility from learned people.

I am in same situation , not able to decide whether to go ahead with

1. ABAP->BI/BO->HANA career path

      OR

2. SAP FI career path, as have opportunity in company  considering previous project involvement

Awaiting for your valuable suggestion .

Kind Regards,

Jeetendra

Thanks Arden for your time and valuable suggestion.

But as per my understanding of S/4 Hana as an Abaper what I need to do and learn picture, is not so clear to me as of now.

Do I need to do HANA Modelling,UI technology learning .

Waiting for your reply.

Hi Jeetendra

This will depend on what's happening within your local environment. What are the intentions of companies in your country with their usage of SAP?

You have an opportunity to follow SAP FI career path, if a company is prepared to employ you, specifically if this is permanent, then will generally ensure that you are supplied with training in current and future areas of SAP. This may be a more secure option.

If you are an independent contractor you need to investigate thoroughly what will be best path. You should also choose something that you enjoy.

I can only guide you on what I see as growth areas, ultimately you will need to make the final assessment of what you want to do yourself.

Arden
