Career change to SAP BASIS or SAP HANA?

I have 1 year experience as a System virtualization engineer(VMware (vSphere/vCenter/ESXi) ).

Now I'm planning to change my career to another technology. I considered SAP BASIS or SAP HANA.

Here I have confusion which technology should I choose, which one have better job scope (SAP BASIS or SAP HANA).

Please give me a valuable suggestion which domain i have to choose, according to my previous experience.

These two modules are totally different...

Its not integrated to each other.. Market value for both modules is good...

But as of my experience, BASIS would be better..

All organizations always needs a BASIS consultant whatever HANA module is implemented there or not.

If one organization implement a limited module, then they needs a BASIS consultant to manage the administration..
