Good Evening !!!
I need some suggestions as I'm considering a career shift to SAP PS at the age of 37.
I live in India and looking for a career abroad, especially in Middle East countries, Singapore .
I have a total of 15 years experience and 11 years in IT Infrastructure Project Management. I am a PMP, Prince 2 Practitioner and ITIL foundation certified. I take care of IT Infrastructure projects.
I work as a Senior Project Manager and looking to shift my career into SAP PS.
Please advice me if it is right to move into SAP at this age ( 37 ).
Will my project management experience be considered when I shift to SAP PS?
Please advice.
Regards,
Ramesh.

Hi,
your previous experience will be very much helpful to shift your career to SAP-PS
but you need to consider few points
you cannot Expect the same salary presently you are getting.
you will be considered as a fresher but once you Gain implementation Experience you can move faster in the SAP career Ladder
Many people cannot Crack the SAP-PS unless they have sound Knowledge on project management in domain.
you substantially have an Edge to easily Understand and move Further.
you need to strictly concentrate on SAP with dedication and Passion.
Age is not Factor in SAP as your previous experience will be considered for your Role.
