Hello everyone, I have done master in Manufacturing in UK. My work experience is that i am working as Store Manager for past 3 years in one of the leading retail firms in UK. Now the problem is that i have to move to India and willing to make a fresh start. I am willing to make a career in to SAP modules such as MM or SD or IS retail. Could anyone advice me if my experience as a store manager would be of any use to make a career in to SAP, if so which Module is that i should be looking at and doing certification upfront in that specific module would give me any edge in finding a decent job opportunity. Please kindly advice. Thanking you. Kishore.

Hi

It all depends what level of information / knowledge you have with you as a store manager. Yes SD or MM would be good options... You can also plan for SRM and CRM on top of that.

Would suggest to attend some demos with some institute and get more information. Yes certification might give you an add on as well.

Hi Ram,

apart from SD, MM or IS Retail , you can also opt for Warehouse Management WM module in SAP.

But prior to moving in any module i will suggest you to be at any SAP authorised training Center and tell the councellor about your work experiences, your exposure and last about your passion of work means about your interest.

Then they will brief you regarding your choice, before that what i will suggest you to search on Google or in SCN about the processings of these modules, like SD, MM, IS Retail, and WM and see yourself in which module you find yourself much friendly, then i think you are able to choose a better option yourself.

Revert if you have further queries in mind.
