Hi Surya,

First attend one local Training at your location for 2 months. Become familiar with SAP IDES 800 Client, I mean SAP FICO Configuration. After completing Local Training, you need to approach one Education Partner. Invest in SAP Training and Attend Class Room Training - SAP Consultant Academy Course TFIN50_1 &2, TFIN52 and appear for SAP Certification FI C_TFIN52_66 at Education Partner center itself.

Hi Pramila,

Thankyou for your very quick response. I have attended training for SAP FI in local training center for 2 months. But they did not teach really well and the instructor took lot of time in explaining concepts since he is not from SAP FI and he got certified from SAP CO. But I could atleast came to know how SAP FI it looks like but same time i was not trained indepth too. So i was thinking to get trained from certified instiutes like Simens, Genovate etc. I came to know that they charge close to 3.7 lakhs for a course period of 20 days. Since i am currently working in a NON SAP related job. I want to know how many days of pratice is required apart from classroom sessions before i  take the certification exam. So that i can plan accordingly either taking leaving for sometime and concentrate completely on SAP certification. Pls advise.

Also, can explain the difference between  TFIN50_1 &2, TFIN52 and appear for SAP Certification FI C_TFIN52_66 ?

Hello Surya,

TFIN50_1, TFIN50_2 and TFIN52 these are SAP Course Codes.

TFIN50_1 course deals with Basic settings, New GL Configuration.

TFIN50_2 course deals with AR, AP

TFIN52 deals with Asset Accounting Configuration.

These three Course Codes are combined to form SAP Exam Certification code C_TFIN52_65/66.

C stands for Consultant. C_TFIN52_65/66 is nothing SAP Product version "Business Suite"

SAP ERP 6 EHP 5 or 6. EHP stands for Enhancement Package.

Coming to Practice. You will be having SAP Server Access in SAP Authorized Centers only for 20 days. In 20 days you need learn SAP Course along with Practicals as given in SAP Materials. You need to create your own company code and configure SAP System on live Server. I know in 20 days you can't but if you are well versed in SAP Training given by local institute, then you can do it. After completion of SAP Training, there will 10 days gap for Exam Preparation. You need to read all 3 books TFIN50_1, TFIN50_2 and TFIN52 for 6 times maximum. Appear for Exam. After Completing Certification, you need to buy SAP IDES version ERP 6 EHP 5/6 or you can Download from Online resource (search in google). Install it and keep practicing and preparing for interview.

I appreciate your way to provide something new here, on SCN. But one thing, when you are creating this kind of thread, like a discussion, so don't mark it as a question. Hope you will understand my message.
