BI with ABAP career

Hi experts,

I have already learned ABAP and now i want to learn BW/BI.

This combination is better for my career or not ...........

if i put my resume after march ABAP with BW/BI then can i get more calls........

I am waiting for yours suggestion..

Hello

Everybody should be interested in BI/BW. I see that everyday that people gather information into the ERPs they don´t use any more. Or use information which is based on some obscure computation based on half-missing data etc. You should first plan your reporting (decision making procedure), next gather the right data (and customize your system to let you gather such data) and next start using your ERP the right way.

When you care about BI/BW you should understand why we all use this ERP stuff. At least I think so. I don´t understand why so many SAP customers (I mean the people working for them) are using SAP as a paper equivalent. God save the queen! )
