Solved: Best SAP module to learn with ABAP

Hi All,

I have a total 3 years of exp. in ABAP. I want to learn some other SAP module in technical side only.

Which module should i go for alongwith ABAP which has a good career growth and bright future?please suggest.

Hello Tuhin,

If you have 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP and now want to switch into another module then SAP FIORI will be best choice for you as it is emerging module and to pursue this module you need an IT degree and following skills:

It is recommended to have SAP workflow knowledge, awareness of ABAP objects and program, etc. Candidates should have knowledge of SAP Net Weaver Gateway and OData as well.

So, you should switch into this module as it has a good scope in both mobile browser and desktop. Having a certificate in SAP Fiori one can start a lucrative career.

so if i compare HANA & FIORI which is the best module for career growth..

Hello Damon,

If you want to know the best one in between SAP Fiori and HANA on the basis of salary then you should go for SAP Fiori as it is highly paid then HANA.

As per me as I have gone through a salary survey in SAP Fiori you can earn $107,000 p.a. and in HANA you can earn $103,000 p.a.

So now its up to you what you want to choose as per your skillset.

Payroll/Tax/Benefits. Lots of config. to learn, lots of crazy and ever changing tax codes to justify people hiring you to implement, and a nice income when you work as well. (Example: ACA in the USA)

BI/BO is growing very fast, and huge demand in markate. And SAP PP functionals are highest paid and ever green module.

If you are technically strong try SAP HANA / SAP UI5 / SAP FIORI. Best in the market.

Hana in future will have more demand than SAP FIORI..SAP Fiori is like small UI it may overcome with new technologies. Sap Hana will remain for long...

HI Tuhin,

I acknowledge and agree on the opinion of other members here. But one important thing I would want to say here is that the salary and growth as an individual depends more on how you adapt & master any of the skill set. So, keeping that in mind both Fiori and HANA are progressing at a rapid rate but you should consider the domain in which you find yourself more comfortable, enjoyable and you can see yourself progressing.

Keeping those things in mind, try to initiate an effort in both and see which is more adaptive to you as an individual.
