I am planning to enter SAP and then move ahead to HANA.
I have 4 years of experience as System Admin and most of you would recommend me to go ahead with BASIS.
I have basic knowledge of ABAP, I have a friend who guided me and taught me ABAP, I have been practicing it for last 6 months and can write few small programs as well.
For me salary is not a concern at all, atleast for next couple of years.
My main aim is to enter HANA, so what would be best method to enter it and what would you recommend me to go ahead with.
Should I do Basis or ABAP certification or any other you would recommend.
I don't want to take shortcuts, please recommend me the best way to go ahead so I can be a good consultant.
Thank You .

Hi Gerard
Have you looked at open.sap.com for Hana introduction? You could learn Basis and hana together?
Without taking shortcuts, enrolling in formal SAP training would be the path. If you have access to a system you could look at getting SAP Learning Hub subscription and training yourself up.
