Hello Friends,

I have 10 years of Sales experience in the field of Printing and packaging. Recently I have completed MBA in marketing as well.

1. Please suggest, which module is best suitable for me.

2. Other than sales module which other module is in demand these days.

3. if I don't want to for certification at SAP partner institute what are other ways to gain knowledge in order to get a decent Job.

4. Is SAP Sales different from SAP sales consultant?

Please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Dear Madhav,

Go for SAP CRM, both your Sales and Marketing Domain Experience will be useful here.

The Other way is to get knowledge from some local institute and extra knowledge can be gained from internet(SAP SDN and SAP HELP).

SAP Sales is a module and SAP Sales Consultant is a Person responsible for SAP SD.

Dear Sajid,

Thanks a lot.

CRM should be interesting as I like the subject from my MBA days.

The problem with So called Authorised Institutes is that they charge a Bomb and still there in no job guarantee and I am not able to find other Good Institutes which are cheaper to go for. I can go to Pune or  Bangalore.

I think I didn't frame my last que. properly. I wanted to ask What is the difference between a SAP sales person ( who  brings new projects) and a consultant. This is to understand the level of knowledge required for these roles.

once again thank you so much.

Regards,

Madhav

Dear Madhav,

There is no such thing as Good Institute, it is the Trainer which matters the most.

I have seen Good Reputed institutes providing bad trainers.

So go to the institutes and find from the existing and old students if the trainer is good.

All your Training depends on the Trainer.

A Sales Person is a Marketing guy of a Company who knows business well and has good Communication and Human skills and he meets the Clients and gets the Projects to the company. A SAP Consultant knows Business and more SAP Configuration and who does the actual work after getting the Project.
