ABAP developer everyday tasks

Hi everyone,

I'm Eloise, and I'm thrilled to be joining this group!

I studied business administration and worked as a payroll administrator, but last year I decided to do quite a career change to become a developer. Currently, I'm upskilling in ABAP Programming. 

Could someone please shed some light on the everyday tasks of an ABAP developer? I'm eager to gain insights into the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges faced in this role. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on your actual workplace (Consultant, Freelance, In-House Development) and the range of the designated Roles / Tasks, a day in the life of an ABAP-Developer can be quite different ...

You can find multiple insights online, in this Community, YouTube videos etc. One resource I might suggest is the SAP-Press Blogpost "Who Are ABAPers And What Do They Do?".
