How would you answer this question?
With so many recent corporate restructurings, I currently find myself in lots conversations helping friends and colleagues figure out their next steps and craft their way forward. Invariably, we eventually come to this simple and yet difficult question. What is your why?

What is your why?
I found this down-to-earth, relaxed blog on Tracking Happiness to be a nice resource if you’re on a journey to identify your why. Perhaps it can help support you if you're exploring this question.
And if you already know your why, feel free to share it in the comments along with other resources you think might be helpful to others as they discover their own answer to this question.
As for me – I try to live my life with the words of Ralf Waldo Emerson in mind.
To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of the intelligent people
and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others;
to leave the world a bit better
whether by a healthy child, a garden patch,
or a redeemed social condition;
to know that one life has breathed easier
because you lived here.
This is to have succeeded.
