SAP Hoffenheim Cup 2015 Ended -- SET Defended Its Champion

The SAP Hoffenheim Cup 2015 successfully ended on November 30 on the football field at Zhangjiang Middle School after a whole month’s competition. Ruicheng Li, SVP, Managing Director of SAP Labs China, presented the award to the winning teams and the top goal scorer.

The Night of the Final
In the final game, SET football team showed their formidable strength despite foggy weather condition, and won the championship with a 2-0 victory over GS football team, becoming the defending champion for the second time.

Four matches were played at the night of the final:

It is the second Hoffenheim Cup this year and eight teams joined the competition with over 150 SAP players. Our colleagues not only improved their soccer skills but also had the opportunity to network with other teams. They demonstrated professional sportsmanship and the spirit of SAPers. The SAP Hoffenheim Cup also represents work-life balance in SAP Labs China.

“I never expected that we could get into the current state this year. It seems that luck is always on our side. Thanks particularly to SME team for the sports spirit they presented in the last group match. Given the fact they beat SF, we could advance as group second.  After that, we won the penalty shootout in Semi Final match. To get champion is always not an easy mission, I would like to thank all of our players for their great effort to overcome difficulties like timing, weather, etc. With all that, we finally make another beautiful memory for 2015.”
