Who am I?
Hello Everyone! My name is Bradley Liou, and I am a Support Engineer in SAP Product Support's Global Support Center Canada. This is my third year working in SAP, and it's also my very first career in life as I have graduated from University of Toronto’s Computer Engineering two years ago. I support SAP ERP Material Management product, specialize in Inventory Management, and I love working here because of the challenge I face every day.
This is not a regular call center job where I pick up the phone, answer simple questions, and press buttons. I get to work with customers that are application experts and service directors, and I help them resolve their issues through investigation, implementation, and various configurations. I will be put under huge pressure when there is an operation down, and I have to react spontaneously, leveraging all the knowledge I have to help the customers. I am the bridge between the customer, consultants, and SAP development. That means I am exposed to customer experience, product technical depth, and system implementation. I love the challenge, and I love what I do!
What makes me Run with a Purpose at SAP?
My team is what makes me Run with a Purpose at SAP every day! From the first day I joined the company, my team embraced me and taught me everything – both technical knowledge and life lessons. Whenever I am feeling down or lost at work, there is always abundant support and encouragement from my teammates. As an immigrant who works and lives in Toronto by myself, my team is like a family to me.
Everyday coming to work, I’m always excited and rejuvenated. It is not only about what I do at work, but also who I work with in my working environment. This place has an incredible energy, and we share a lot of great moments together. I am very grateful that I work with a bunch of amazing people, and I can always go to them whenever I have a question - or when I just need someone to talk to. This atmosphere is what drives me to work hard every day, as I truly want to make my team proud! This is a place that cares about people and employee’s development, and this team makes me Run with a Purpose at SAP!
To continue the challenge, I will blog it forward to David Hilton and Connie Stevens who will be sharing their stories next week.
