"Picture a Better World" Contest: Win Money for Charity for Your Photos!

SAP kicks off a monthly photography contest in October, inviting employees to capture fellow employees improving lives during SAP's Month of Service!

During October, more than 10,000 employees are expected to take part in 90 locations across 40 countries, donating more than 50,000 hours to help the world run better. The event is SAP Month of Service, and the motto is “Community – Powered by SAP.”

To capture employees in the act of improving lives around the world, SAP News is dedicating is first monthly photography contest to SAP Month of Service. With every photo submitted, employees will help complete the story of service to their communities. And no employee should feel left out, because even those not participating in an SAP Month of Service activity can submit photos.

Three winners, three donations

Three winning photographs will be chosen based on the number of “likes” they receive from their colleagues, as well as by a panel of judges

In the spirit of the Month of Service, SAP CSR will donate €500 to a charity of each winner’s choice. The charity must be a tax exempt charitable organization that enhances education or entrepreneurship to foster economic growth. In addition, the photographers and their pictures will also be featured in SAP News and in other materials.

Photographers should concentrate on capturing natural moments during the specific community activity which demonstrate or symbolize the act of cooperating, sharing, giving, or working as a team to achieve a common goal.

Participation is easy

To submit your photo or evaluate the photos of colleagues, go to the SAP News Jam Group (This JAM site is only accessible by SAP employees). Participants are asked to label their photos with the name of the CSR activity and the location.

Winners will be announced at the end of November!
